KAREN and DES celebrate 50 years of marriage.
Yeah yeah, forget the jokes about less for murder etc, this was a great celebration of a couple who have spent half a century together. That takes some serious commitment. The weekend was spent at the Capricorn Resort at Yeppoon QLD with the whole Hitchman family there to celebrate. They came from all over Australia to be there.

There was lots of photos and everyone had a great time and the resort has plenty to do on a very hot early summers day.

Saturday night and we had a semi-formal event where more photos and lots of memories.
Some of the family put together some great audio visuals and it was an enjoyable evening for all.
Followed by the cutting of the cake and a presentation of certificates and telegraphs from various dignitaries including the Governor General and Premier.
